Show Season 2010 - 2011

The show season even though not competing in a lot of shows was very successful.   The first show attended was Catani Agi where Snow did his led coming home with Reserve Arabian Derivative Colt/stallion, Supreme Open Breed and Champion Part Welsh.  Next with only a  few rides since Barastoc the year before, we were off to the Vic Riding Pony of the Year were Snow came away with Top 5 Led and Ridden Senior Riding Pony, we were more than impressed with his performance, in extremely good company. Only  a few weeks later we were competing at the National Welsh Championships in Tatura.  After a very full day which included competing with success in the Riding pony show where he was awarded champion led stallion and Champion ridden riding pony. Snow was awarded National Champion Led part Welsh.  The competition was fantastic and I can say that he had his work cut out for him.  After 3 months off we started some dressage work, this was received well by those that watched him in training so we decided that we would compete him.  He was placed 1st with a score of 59.5% with some very promising remarks from the judge.  This has opened up a new area all together for  him. We are hoping that we can in the next season take him to a few more dressage comp's.

Megan didn't do many show's this season either but had a great time enjoying it even in the rain and wind at Geelong Royal Show where she was awarded Reserve champion leading rein Riding pony, then in a huge class of open leading rein ponies was awarded 3rd, a few months later she was at the Vic Riding Pony of the year receiving reserve leading rein and then at the National welsh weekend in the riding pony ring was champion leading rein.  Thanks to Leanne and 'Charli'.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Raymond Butler, Vicky and Emily Mckerrnan, Harald Hartelt and Melissa Taff for there help, assistance and guidance.
